EXO T19 Plus terminals for ArcelorMittal Acindar

EXO technological solutions has installed the new EXO T19 Plus EXO T19 Plus terminals in one of ArcelorMittal Acindar's plants, specifically designed for the safety and production requirements established by the multinational.

Each terminal has a set of electronic devices that, combined with each other, create a powerful multi-function tool for different workspaces.

In ArcelorMittal Acindar, digital improvements were implemented in all production plants by installing Safety Self-Management Terminals, facilitating the access of all personnel. These terminals can record various anomalies that occur within each process, indicating the sector where it takes place and its location, among other things.

This process ends by recording the information within the SAP system, where it is followed up with action plans to fully improve the management of the needs of each plant and people.

The information collected is analyzed and processed online, providing follow-up and management reports for proper management, using SAP-BW and PowerBI.

In the case of ArcelorMittal Acindar, the operation of the self-management stations is used in production spaces where the robustness of the equipment, the anti-vandalism devices (keyboard, mouse and touch screen) and the possibility of adapting to any management system provided by the client play an important role.

In addition, these terminals enable interaction with the system by means of biometric data (fingerprints), touch screens and industrial keyboards/mouse.

For the terminals, equipment specifically designed for operating and plant environments with adequate robustness and peripherals to withstand the demands have been selected, Acindar said.
