EXO's Innovative Digital Signage Arrives in Iguazú National Park

After the successful implementation in Los Alerces National Park (Chubut) of EXO's interactive digital signage terminals that provide tourist information and guidance, Parques Nacionales decided to continue with the project in Iguazú National Park, located in Misiones on the border with Brazil.

There, the Argentine technology company installed three interactive digital signage terminals that provide information to the thousands of travelers who enjoy year after year one of the main wonders of the world. Only in February 2023, the Park had a monthly income of 132 thousand visitors, being more than 50% national tourism and 30% international.

The equipment implemented were the T43 DC models, designed according to the requirements of the National Parks Administration based on an integral renovation project of several National Parks in our country.

This device is characterized by two 43-inch touch screens, a curved structure and side graphics that highlight the fauna and landscapes of the park. The interactive software, like the Los Alerces Park version, makes reference to the points of interest, flora and fauna, and a didactic trivia as a playful reinforcement to play while learning.

Strolling through the Park

The project aims to provide an interactive experience through 7 interactive totems (4 already installed, 1 in Alerces, 3 in Iguazú) that will operate in five National Parks: Los Alerces National Park, Nahuel Huapi National Park, Los Glaciares National Park, Tierra del Fuego National Park and Iguazú National Park.

Its main objective is to provide the public with a general overview of the most outstanding features, its natural and cultural particularities, as well as the services offered.

"It is a great step forward to provide the national parks with technology to modernize the tours and offer a quality service to visitors. We have built these totems from scratch, taking charge of both the hardware and the software, as well as remote monitoring of their operation," explained Ernesto Poschenrieder, Exo's Quality Manager.
